These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the use of the Pride Foods website and the purchase of products from us.

Pride Foods is a trading brand operated by Dominus Fortitudo Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Dominus Fortitudo Limited is registered in England and Wales and operates the Pride Foods brand across the United Kingdom and European Union.

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By accessing our website or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

4. Placing an Order

  2. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  3. A legally binding contract is formed when we accept your order and payment is processed.
  4. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any lawful reason, including pricing errors or stock availability.


5. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is due in full at the time of ordering.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.


6. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.
  • Risk in the Products passes to you on delivery.
  • Ownership of the Products passes to you once full payment has been received.

For Business Customers, time for delivery is not of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing.


7. Consumer Rights – Returns and Cancellation

If you are a Consumer:

  • You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the Products, unless an exemption applies (e.g. perishable goods or opened food products).
  • You are entitled to a refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your consumer rights.

8. Business Customers – Returns and Cancellation

If you are a Business Customer:

  • Orders are binding once accepted.
  • You do not have an automatic right to cancel.
  • Returns are accepted only with our prior written agreement.
  • We may apply restocking or handling fees.


9. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and information are accurate.

However:

  • Images are for illustrative purposes only.
  • Minor variations do not constitute a defect.


10. Limitation of Liability

Consumers

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Defective products under consumer law


Business Customers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We exclude all implied warranties and conditions.
  • We are not liable for loss of profit, business interruption, or indirect or consequential loss.
  • Our total liability is limited to the price paid for the Products giving rise to the claim.


11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) acts of God, supply chain disruption, transport delays, or governmental action.
