Pride Foods is a trading brand operated by Dominus Fortitudo Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).

This Refund Policy explains your rights in relation to cancellations, returns, and refunds when purchasing products from us. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.


1. Important Consumer Rights Information

If you are a Consumer (an individual purchasing for personal use), your purchase is protected by UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.


2. Our Products

We sell two categories of products:

  1. Food products (e.g. Rice ’N Grinds hot rice cereal)
  2. Non-food accessories (e.g. bowls, utensils, or similar items)

Different rules apply to each category under UK law, as set out below.


3. Cancellation Rights – Non-Food Accessories

If you are a Consumer and purchase non-food accessories, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To cancel:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery by email at info@pridefoods.co.uk
  • You then have a further 14 days to return the item(s)

Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • In their original condition and packaging

Refunds:

  • We will refund the price paid for the item(s)
  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return
  • Original delivery charges (standard delivery only) will be refunded

Return costs:

  • You are responsible for return postage costs for change-of-mind cancellations


4. Food Products – Cancellation and Returns

Due to the nature of food products, different rules apply.

Change of mind:

  • The statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply to food products once they have been opened, for health and hygiene reasons
  • Unopened food products may be eligible for return at our discretion, provided they are returned in their original, sealed condition

Please contact us before returning any food product.


5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

For all products (food and non-food):

If your item is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged
  • Not as described
  • Unfit for purpose

you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

What to do:

  • Contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@pridefoods.co.uk
  • Provide details and, where applicable, photos of the issue

Your rights:

  • You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair
  • Where a refund is due, it will be issued within 14 days
  • We will cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty or incorrect items

These rights apply even if the product was purchased at a discount or on sale.


6. Sale and Promotional Items

Sale or discounted items are treated the same as full-price items under UK law.

This means:

  • Your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods always apply
  • Change-of-mind returns may be restricted for food products as described above


7. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

Please note:

  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider
  • We cannot refund card processing or third-party transaction delays


8. Business Customers

If you are purchasing as a Business Customer:

  • Statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply
  • Returns are accepted only by prior written agreement
  • Any agreed refunds or credits will be processed in accordance with the agreed terms
